How to Use

  1. Open Temponome and play some music on your Mac.
  2. Click the waveform icon in the menu bar.
  3. Grant Audio Capture permission when prompted on first use.
  4. Wait for the detected BPM to appear. Click again whenever you want a fresh reading.

Privacy & Permissions: Temponome processes audio locally on your Mac. Audio is not saved to a file or uploaded, and your auto-hide preference is stored on your device. Audio Capture permission is needed to analyze system sound.

Requirements: macOS 14.4 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon.
